We are excited to recruit for this role at Golding of Maintenance Inspector.
What you'll be doing
We are looking for an exceptional Maintenance Inspector to provide technical solutions and support on complex repairs and maintenance issues across our customers’ homes, including monitoring of works/services where required.
In this role you will be driving progress of disrepair cases to ensure that appropriate remedial works are in place within an appropriate timescale to create an exceptional customer experience. You'll support and monitor contractor’s delivery of responsive repairs, voids, and aids and adaptations and liaise with contractors to agree works, raise orders, and carry out pre/post work inspections.
Why you’d be great for this role
You’ll hold practical trade skills and experience.
With demonstrable experience of working in reactive maintenance; diagnosing & ordering reactive repairs, you’ll be an experienced Inspector with an understanding of housing and property along with the ability to write high quality documentation and reports.
Your excellent knowledge of building and housing regulations and legislation will enable you to act with integrity and accountability. You will also have knowledge of schedule of rates contracts.
You will have an aptitude for innovation and creativity and will support continual service improvement and your excellent influencing and communication skills will show you’ll always put our customers at the heart of what you do.
You will need a basic DBS check, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for this role.
When and where you'll be doing it
You will enjoy a 37 hour working week and earn an annual salary of circa £42,500 dependent upon your knowledge, skills and experience.
